The Intuiderm Dermatology Educational Program is an in-depth, comprehensive virtual training brought to you by medical experts committed to raising the standard of practice of non-dermatologists.
This program is specifically designed for physician assistants, nurse practitioners, students, and physicians who are interested in increasing their knowledge of medical and cosmetic dermatology.
During his 30-year medical career, Dr. Messo has cared for many adults and children across New York and New Jersey in both hospital and private practice settings. He has also instructed hundreds of medical students, PA students, NP students, and medical residents.
Dr. Messo served as a Clinical Adjunct Professor for the Touro School of Osteopathic Medicine, the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Wagner College, New York Medical College, and SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Messo earned a Master's Degree in Medical Education Leadership from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Messo was honored for his dedication to his patients and to medical education in the Library of Congress.
Dr. Messo earned his BS degree from Wagner College in New York City. He then studied medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Biddeford Maine. Knowing he had an affinity for primary care, he completed a residency program in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at Staten Island University Hospital. He also served as Chief Resident during this time. Upon completion, he entered private practice in New York City. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Messo served as Associate Director of the Internal Medicine/Pediatric Residency Program from 1993-2007. He also was Director of Medical Student Education and Director of the Internal Medicine Ambulatory Care Center of Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Messo was past president of the Richmond County Medical Society. He has written articles for the Staten Island Advance and the Colts Neck Journal. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Paul Contard, MD, PhD

Dr. Paul Contard is one of the most highly respected dermatologists in New York City.

He earned his MPH and PhD in biology at City University of New York. During that time, he did extensive research on skin. After completing his PhD, Dr. Contard received his Medical Degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed a one-year internship in internal medicine at Staten Island University Hospital then returned to Mount Sinai for residency training in dermatology.

Dr. Contard has been Board Certified in dermatology since 1992. For over 25 years, Dr. Contard has participated in the treatment of thousands of patients in his private practice, hospital inpatient consults, and teaching clinics. He was one of the first physicians to adapt to electronic medical records.

For past 25 years, Dr. Contard has aslo been involved in the medical education of hundreds of medical residents, medical students, physician assistants, physician assistants students, nursing students, nurse practitioners, and attending physicians.
He is one of the most highly sought-after dermatologic speakers in the area. His lectures are well attended and he is known for his ability to simplify difficult concepts with his humorous, easy-going, delivery. He is a doctor's doctor.
